Saint Paul, one of the liveliest bobo districts

A stone's throw from the famous Place des Vosges, Saint Paul looks like an extension of the Marais. As you walk around, you will come across lots of little shopping streets with fashion boutiques, trendy bars, and restaurants with a village feel. To the south, the Quai des Célestins, with its old stones, is a pleasant place to walk. You can admire the beautiful mansions, which gave the district a more well-to-do feel. This transformation was the work of André Malraux and the Quartier Sauvegardé Act, which changed the neighborhood socially.

Saint Paul village, an area dedicated to art and decoration

The already bustling shopping district of Saint-Paul wanted to promote new businesses. To do this, an important redevelopment campaign was launched in 1979, and made the streets extremely lively. The town hall of the 4th arrondissement gave young, talented designers, mainly specializing in home decor, their opportunity. You will enjoy walking around a labyrinth of pedestrianized streets. As you walk, you will no doubt end up in stunning interior courtyards.

The Saint-Paul district has it all!

Saint-Paul is served by the Saint-Paul metro station, on line 1. You can also get there by bus. The area has all the local stores you might need. You will particularly like the artisanal food stores.

Come to the Saint Paul district on your next trip to Paris and discover our selection of furnished rentals.
