The location is absolutely perfect. You are a 5 minute walk from the rue Mouffetard Market and in a very nice residential area. There are multiple buses within two blocks and a useful Metro station about 10-minutes walk. The building was well kept and quiet. There is no air conditioning but there is a fan and on the very warm days the building was so cool we didn't even use the fan. The shower is excellent, instant hot water and a strong spray. The washing machine works well but the drying rack provided was not very good. It is easier to walk a half block to a very nice laundromat to dry your clothes. Our only objection to the apartment was the fact that the bed is up against a wall on two sides which makes it difficult to make the bed. The room is small enough that there is no other option and it is a small inconvenience. If you are used to a large queen or king-sized bed, you may find this one uncomfortable though. The chairs in the living room are very comfortable; the television has English channels and there is plenty of storage space for your luggage. As first mentioned, the location can't be beat. It is easy to walk to many sights and for the rest there is easy bus and Metro access. There is a cute little park by the St. Medard Church nearby and if you want to walk a bit farther, there are several lovely parks. We walked to the Luxembourg Gardens a few times but there is a direct bus if you don't enjoy that much walking. There is no elevator (lift) and you do have to walk up one flight of winding stairs. We're in our 70s and it was not a problem. I would highly recommend the apartment. We were there for a month and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. You live in a neighborhood and get to know your local merchants. The apartment gives you a chance to get out into the neighborhood and enjoy parks, markets, local restaurants and have a little feeling of living there. It's much different from the hotel experience. We enjoy both, hotels for short stays and apartments for longer stays. We've used Paris Attitude before and been very happy with them whenever we've used them. It's a good idea to use a reputable rental agency and the agency fee is well worth the cost. If you have a problem, they are there to help.

How to Rent an Apartment?

After finding the ideal apartment, simply follow these steps to finalize your booking:

What are the costs associated with the reservation?

The payment required to confirm your reservation includes:

Agency fees: These allow us to inspect each property before it is rented out and to offer you tailored support.

The deposit: For rentals longer than 2 months, it corresponds to the first month's rent and energy consumption. For rentals shorter than 2 months, we will ask you to pay the full rent and energy consumption in advance.

The security deposit: It will be refunded to you within 30 days if the exit inventory is in accordance with the one conducted at the time of your arrival.

These amounts are calculated based on the information entered during your reservation.

They can be paid by credit card (secure online payment) or by bank transfer. If your reservation is made more than 31 days before your arrival, you have the option to pay in two installments.

What are the cancellation conditions?

In case of cancellation before the start of your stay, half a month's rent for a rental of more than 2 months or half the total rent for a rental of less than 2 months, as well as agency fees, are non-refundable.

You have the option to purchase, at the time of your booking, cancellation and interruption insurance covering unforeseen situations (ex : illness, accident, visa denial…). This covers:

In case of cancellation before your stay: You will be fully refunded the amounts paid at the time of booking.

In case of interruption during your stay: You will be fully refunded the amounts already paid for the remainder of your stay, and you will have nothing more to pay.
